Thanks to everyone that was able to come to the meeting. Also a big thanks to SMTC for providing great snacks for the meeting. 

Congratulations to the SMTC Team for their hard work in putting together a great state science fair. Also thanks to the Science Posse Team for their efforts in providing a great variety of student activities.

The purpose of the association is to:
  • Serve as a voice for the science teaching community.
  • Build a network of educators dedicated to professional growth and the promotion and implementation of advances in science education.
  • Improve the public's image of professional science educators.
  • Be a communications network for science educators.
  • Play a leadership role in science education training.
  • Promote among all teachers a genuine concern for the total development of each student.
  • Work cooperatively with other professional groups.
  • Provide opportunities for professional growth.
