Twilight Series

The 35th Annual Twilight Series begins this week.  Each race will be $2 for members and $5 for non-members.  Don't forget to run 5 of the 6 races to earn this year's premium!

Main Street Mile

Registration for the 33rd Annual Main Street Mile is now open!  The race will take place on April 16 at 7pm.  Be sure to register early as the race is only open for the first 700 runners to register.  See for more information and to register.

RRCA 10 Mile Challenge - Feb 23rd

The club challenge ten mile registration is now open. 
Once again, WRRC will cover the fee for WRRC club members.  The registration is easy to do at the Howard County Striders Website:  .  Please email Scott Kohr ( stating you have signed up - or if you have any questions.  The field for the day is limited to 1000 runners.  Register NOW to not get locked out!  It's free for , so don't wait!

All WRRC, ERR, and Flying Feet members who were paid members (of WRRC) in 2013 or 2014 will be paid for.

Bachman Valley Half Marathon

WRRC Picnic

Westminster Road Runners Club would like to invite all to a picnic at Sandymount Recreation Park on Aug. 10th.  Please bring drinks and a side dish to share as fried chicken will be provided. Twilight Series winners will be announced! RSVP to Jill Krebs ( by August 7.

Pleasant Valley 4-miler Rescheduled for July 25

The Pleasant Valley 4-miler which was cancelled last week due to extreme heat has been rescheduled for this Thursday July 25 at 7 pm at the Fire Hall! If you can't make the race, you can run this race at an off-time (even if you've run another race off-time as the series rules originally only allow this once). Just let Liuda Galinaitis ( know when you are done.
Thanks to Karsten Brown who will be the substitute race director since Liuda can't be there. Can he direct and take pictures at the same time?

Pleasant Valley 4-miler Cancelled for 7/18

The Pleasant Valley 4-miler scheduled for this evening has been CANCELLED due to extreme heat.  There is a possibility that it will be rescheduled next Thursday but that has yet to be decided.  When there is a decision reached, we will email an update as well as update the website and Facebook pages accordingly.

Westminster Women's Distance Festival 5k

This year's version of the Westminster Women's Distance Festival will be on Sunday, July 14, at 8 am at the usual location at the Silver Run Lions picnic pavilion. A pre-race registration fee of $4 will get every female entrant chip timing, a race on shaded country roads, refreshments and friendship!  Males can enjoy free refreshments and a free race voucher for volunteering!  Our entry form is attached.  Hope to see you there and let me know if you have any questions!
