40th Anniversary Brochure with Art Walk
||The Robert T.Wright Community Gallery of Art joins in the College of Lake
County’s 40th anniversary celebration by highlighting many outstanding works in
the college’s permanent art collection. There are over 600 works of art
installed on the Grayslake, Lakeshore and Southlake campuses. Each work reflects
the aesthetic, cultural, and social concerns of the time in which it was
created. The art collection lends beauty and grace to our institutional setting,
and the works of art develop the aesthetic sensibilities of the viewer.
An interesting way to enjoy an art collection
is by grouping pieces thematically. New themes will be introduced periodically.
