September is "National Suicide Prevention Month"

Image result for suicide prevention monthPro-wrestling has a tragically grisly history of competitors taking their own lives.  Many were mentally devastated from the deterioration of their bodies and struggled with mental illness, others were overwhelmed by professional limitations and some had relationship or family problems that led to their end.

Some were high profile like the sequential suicides of Mike, Chris and Kerry Von Erich or the double murder-suicide of the
Benoit family, but most involved people who were long out of the limelight.  There has not been a high profile pro-wrestler suicide (or a death that was explicitly called a suicide) since Sean O'Haire in September of 2014.
