At our AGM in May 2016, a motion was made to dissolve WCLR should no viable option be presented within 60 days. So, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the dissolution of the Winnipeg Children’s Literature Roundtable.

We have enjoyed sharing our love of literature with you over the past number of years and we hope that we will find new means to continue to be connected through our passion for children’s literature.

Our email address (wclr.online@gmail.com) will be casually monitored until August 2017, but the dissolution is effective as of July 26, 2016.

Thank you for your interest and support.

Join the Winnipeg Children's Literature Round Table

Keep up with the wonderful world of Canadian literature for children and teens!

Teachers, librarians, and all other children's literature enthusiasts, join us, at a modest annual membership fee of $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for full-time students, which helps with expenses incurred in hosting our guests, offering refreshments at sessions and publicizing our activities.

Who are we?
We are a group of people who share a common interest in Canadian children's literature, both fiction and non-fiction.

What do we do?
We meet several times per year to hear an author or illustrator tell about his/her published works, and sometimes works in progress.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people who are directly responsible for producing the ever-growing body of Canadian literature for children.
