Wojtek Paczos

I am a Senior Lecturer in Economics (Associate Professor) at Cardiff University and a member of Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. I hold a Ph.D. from the European University Institute (2016), where my advisors were Árpád Ábrahám and Evi Pappa.

My interests are in the fields of sovereign debt and default, international economics and monetary policy.

I am a vice president of a think tank "Dobrobyt na Pokolenia" (Prosperity for Generations). In December 2020 I have been appointed a member of the Covid-19 Advisory Group to the President of the Polish Academy Of Sciences.
