 Self-Injury

Called "the new anorexia", self-injury is defined as the deliberate, non-suicidal harming of one's self. Self-injury can affect anyone - it doesn't matter what race, religion, gender or age you are. If you know of anyone who injures themselves in anyway or if you are someone who self-injures, please read through the material provided in these links. know that there is hope for you. Even though self-injury may calm you or awaken you, the relief is only temporary. It can be a very isolating  and lonely experience. Please do call our counselors if you need someone to talk to.
