My first 4 panorama shots taken with PT4Pano (Precision Tools for Panorama Photography) MidiNPA (= midi Nodal-Point-Adaptor) for Leica M and Rotator Plus (with bubble level to allow precise horizontal alignment). The MidiNPA ist a very light-weight (ca. 150 gr.), Zero set-up nodal point adapter, which is pre-set for a specific Camera-Lens-combination (in my case: 16mm for the Tri-Elmar 16-18-21mm, 28mm for the Tri-Elmar 28-35-50mm and the Ricoh GRD III). The main principle of PT4Pano is: KISS = keep it stiff and simple and that is exactly what it is: Mount the Rotator Plus tripod head (ca. 135 gr.) with the MidiNPA on your tripod (or monopod - not the best solution, but for landscape ok), select the right, pre-configured point to fix your camera (with your selected focal length) - and shoot.
