Compromise on Discipline

Roman Catholicism, as well as many Protestant denominations, profess to be against abortion because they see it as the killing of a child created in the image of God. Yet, church discipline is lacking and this encourages its church members to flagrantly disregard the issue.

It has become common for Catholic legislators to push forward laws that advocate the open access to abortion. Rather than discipline these church members, the church just totally ignores the issue, as do many of the Protestant churches. Bill O'Reily addresses the issue in the following clip.
