GETTING TO ZERO: Zero Discrimination.

Since 2006 the World AIDS Marathon (WAM) has been held each year in Kisumu, Kenya on World
AIDS Day, which is 1 December. The marathon brings together runners from all walks of life, including some of the most vulnerable in the community, from all over the world.

The World AIDS Marathon in Kisumu is playing an important role in helping to break down the barriers of stigma associated with HIV. Participants and volunteers alike want people to know that no matter what a person’s HIV status we can come together to support and encourage each other to live healthier lives.

Be sure to register for the full or half marathon or the walk or relay here.
