How do I emphasize things in LPub

posted Nov 14, 2011, 7:00 AM by Jaco van der Molen
Q: Is it possible in LPub to make a circle which emphasize the place where we need to pay attention, or some kind of symbol that marks the parts that have been assembled in each step?
A: You can use an LDraw primitive like 4-4ring8.dat and blow it up say 3 times. Give it a contrasting color and turn in 45 degrees. Then position it so that it is around the element that you wish to emphasize. Ignore the part in LPub so that it will not appear in the PLI. See examples attached to this page.

There are several other things you can do to emphasize things in your building instructions. All methods are not native to LPub but rather to LDraw or MLCad. Please refer to Use buffer exchange and Use an Assembled Callout or use a "Single Brick Callout" for some examples and methods.
