Q: How can I move objects?
A: This is a bit complicated. LPub's strength is its semi-automatic placing of things relative to things. Placing step number, PLI, assemblies, callouts, page numbers on steps per page, and all the tabular placement associated with callouts and step groups. We have some simple rules: images can only be placed relative to page, and images are always on top of all the other imagery that is generated due to LDraw files.

Being able to place objects like assemblies, PLI's and callouts depends on the type of page: one step per page or a multiple step page. Objects placed relative to an assembly are only dragable on a "one step per page" page. On multi step pages you must place them relative to the page itself or the step group. Choices for object placement depends on the type of object and type of page.
