To add the last step of the instructions again right-click on an empty part of the page beneath the assembly image of step 6 and choose Add Next Step. LPub always has you build any Submodels before they are used, and since this last step builds the trunk as a Submodel, LPub displays the first step of building the trunk, instead of the steps for finishing the tree. So, the contents of page 1 changed quite a bit. Since this Submodel is small, we can convert it to a callout, which shows the entire model assembled in a small box next to the step where it is added.
To convert this Submodel to a callout, right-click on the page background and choose Convert to Callout from the menu.
This will result in adding the last step to the page, adding the Callout for the instructions to build the trunk and add an arrow pointing from the Callout to approximately where the trunk should go on the model. LPub calculates this for you. You can click the arrow and move its starting point and/or arrow by dragging the black squares to the position you desire.
The result of your actions should give you something like Screen F.
When satisfied with the result, save your file and create a PDF if you wish.
Study the code in the LDraw File to learn more and understand the mechanics of LPub. And again of course experiment with various settings.
