About Us

"What you are is God's gift to you, what you add to it is your gift to God"--Hans Urs Von Balthasar

Being aware of her writing and translation skills, and a passion for reading since childhood, Revati always yearned to make creative use of her available time. She had a hobby of penning down her thoughts and also translating the leading literary works of one language into another,so that it would reach out to many who would not understand the original language. She was an amateur writer and translator till the early 90s, but turned into a professional writer and translator when her writings were well appreciated by many leading publishers in Marathi. Subsequently, she was asked to contribute regularly for their magazines. Revati's writings have been published in many leading Marathi language magazines. She was felicitated by Maharashtra Rajya Sahitya Sanskiriti Mandal for her first Marathi book for children, 'Bakshis'.

Initially all her writings were for offline clients, but after 2004, she latched on to the internet wave and took a dive into the ocean of knowledge, and touched new horizons. She explored boundless opportunities in the field of writing and translation, where there was a constant need to break the language barriers. She decided to take the challenge of breaking these barriers and leave her own unique mark in this field. This is how Word's World Translation Services came into being in the year 2007. It offers high quality, professional language translation services in Marathi, Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu and also offers other services like content writing, copy writing & jingles for advertisements, editing, proof reading and transcription of small audios & videos.

With her Post Graduation in Commerce combined with literary skills, Revati is able to handle technical as well as literary translations with equal ease and finesse. She handles technical translation in the fields of Marketing, Health, Law, History, Finance, Management, Education, IT, Corporate Management, Social Welfare and many more. On the literary side, Revati has translated hundreds of articles for daily leading newspapers, scripts of Marathi films, contents of advertisements etc. Two books translated by her have been published by one of India's leading publishing house. One of the books is a compilation of short stories while the other is an autobiography of a CEO. Being a spiritual person and a voracious spiritual reader, she has translated a few spiritual books also, which were used for private circulation.

As said above, it is a passion turned into profession for Revati, so she enjoys working on every project that she undertakes. "Work is worship" is her motto and the reason why she does not work just to earn money but also to make her soul happy. She does translation in very simple language so that it becomes user friendly. She provides customized services, adheres to the deadlines and of course, offers value for money.

Being passionate about her work, Revati does all of her translation work herself. She does not merely chase volumes from the perspective of pure business growth. She is thus able to consistently give high quality work to her clients. Her philosophy in translating any document is that content should not be translated word to word. Instead, the translated content should feel like an original piece in that language and should be close to the culture, traditions and the flow of the target language. However in case of technical documents she takes care to give exact word to word translation. It should be noted that she does not use any short cut methods like using machine translator, and hence can provide translation that captures the essence of the original work.

Being a responsible member of society, she is conscious of her duty towards the deprived and offers translation services to NGOs at very low rates. Her latest contribution in this respect is creating the Marathi version of English content for a DVD on peace and religious harmony.

Revati also does content writing for web sites & advertisements - original or trans creation. Through the word of mouth publicity of satisfied clients, she has been able to win the hearts of thousands of clients and has developed a vast customer base, in India and abroad,
