I decided to try my hand at pyrography (drawing with a wood burning pen)  to make my sticks  different and unique.  To my surprise, I found that I could draw a bit, and have progressed to pyrographing a variety of pots, plaques and coasters.
I find this very relaxing as I do the drawings freehand, out of my head!
People often ask what I do if I make a mistake! - but as I have no idea what the finished picture is meant to look like, any mistakes can be incorporated in the design!!

Trinket pot - New-Forest scene

This pot originally had 2 ducks in the middle of the picture!  When I'd finished it, I wasn't very happy, and then had to spend the next hour or so sanding it out and replacing the ducks with a mare & foal!
