We are a friendly group of amateur woodworkers who enjoy meeting to do woodcarving and pyrography together and exchange ideas.

Within the group we just `do our own thing' and also there is the opportunity to become involved in an occasional group construction project, if desired. The atmosphere is very free and easy!

Within this site, you will find information on the type of work that we do and the activities that we have been involved in.

For those interested in joining the group, or trying a taster session, please refer to the Meetings page and the Membership page. All ability levels are most welcome.

Some of our members have years of experience, whereas others are quite new to working with wood.

The pictures on the left show one of the group projects that we were involved in, making a totem pole for a local school.

The pictures below show some of our members at work on solo projects.

Some of our work is currently on display in the Green Room at the Ryan Centre, in Stranraer, including Sue Joslin's work.
