South Burnett Woodcrafters is a Kingaroy based club for people interested in wood carving, wood turning and all forms of woodwork. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Senior membership $50 )

Junior membership (to 15 years) $30

Associate Member (eg member's partner) $30

Workshop fee: $3 per week attended.

Club shirts $40 each (optional purchase).

Qualifications For Membership:

  • A desire to discover a non-stressful, particularly satisfying hobby

  • An appreciation of wood as a medium for creating beauty in structural form and finish

  • An ability to “have a go”

  • A willingness to assist in all club activities, including making objects for sale

How Long Have We Been In Existence? South Burnett Woodcrafters Inc. has been established since the early 1990s.

Meetings: We meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays each week, from 8:30am to mid-day.  Tea, coffee, milk and hot water are provided for a morning tea break. Members bring their own smoko.  The club holds monthly management meetings and bimonthly general meetings Quarterly general meeting.

Location: Meetings are held at our future club facilities in King Street (the old QR complex).

Visitors: Visitors are very welcome at our meetings and are warmly invited to share morning tea with us.
