Women's Club of East Granby

The Women's Club of East Granby has been serving the Community since 1969.

We are dedicated to community service and take pride in contributing to our town through fundraising and social and community events,
that include our children, neighbors, and senior citizens.
Our club offers fun and meaningful experiences, which foster long lasting friendships and promotes a strong support system within our community.
We invite all women in town to join our club today.
Please contact our membership committee or Co-Presidents Tammy Sorensen-Duray or Virginia Moriarty if you have any questions about the club.

2018/19 WCEG Kick-off Meeting

Date:        Wednesday, September 12
Time:       7:00 pm
Where:    The Barn, Granby, CT

The Women’s Club of East Granby welcomes all women aged eighteen and over to our first meeting on September 12 at 7 pm, to be held at The Barn restaurant in Granby.

We meet on the second Wednesday of every month to review our current fundraisers and social events, brainstorm new ideas and enjoy each other’s company.  Our goal is to provide service to our community, promote social and educational opportunities and enjoy good fellowship.  Some of the community events that we run or support include Empty Bowls, the East Granby Golf Outing, Winter Wonderland and the East Granby Ridge Run 5K.  The money we raise goes back to our town in contributions to our schools, community services and local non-profit organizations serving the needs of the community.

We love to have new members with fresh ideas that keep our club always evolving.  Come to our first meeting (bring a friend) and see what we’re all about.

For more information, please contact Ginny Moriarty or Shirley Woods - virginiawmoriarity@gmail.com or shirleywoods@cox.net.
