PROJECT OVERVIEW:  My project focuses on women scientists from both the past and present.  My objective is to compare and contrast the women scientists of the past  with those who are currently working in different fields of science today.  This will allow students to explore their interests in diverse fields of science.  Activities will incorporate the Stripling Model of Inquiry, the Scientific Method, primary sources from the Library of Congress and some outside resources. This lesson is intended for 4-6th grade students.
