Sunday, September 16, 2007Podcast of Farscape Webisode Announcement at ComicConThe Farscape Cognoscente has just discovered that the Jim Henson company has published a podcast of the announcement of the Farscape webisodes at last summer's Comic Con. For those who were not able to attend, this allows you to hear exactly what was said, and how the audience reacted to the news. Link to podcast site. Thursday, September 6, 2007Farscape Alumni in Upcoming ProjectsDavid Kemper (executive producer, Farscape), Richard Manning (producer and writer, Farsape) and Andrew Prowse (director, Farscape) are working together on an upcoming movie, "Heatstroke". IMDB lists this project as "post production", and there's no word yet on any release dates. Richard Manning (AKA FrooniumRicky) is also credited as writer on another project, "Tyrannosaurus Azteca", which is also listed by IMDB as in "post-production". The GS Cognoscente can gleam no clue about where or when these two projects will be released and distributed, but considers The SciFi Channel a possible candidate, probably for their "monster of the week" Saturday night movie. Both productions are under the aegis of Rigel Entertainment, a name that makes any 'Scaper pause and think. Thursday, September 6, 2007Claudia Drops Out of "Life"Word has reached the FS Cognoscente that Claudia Black (Aeryn Sun, Farscape) has dropped out of "Life", due to her pregnancy. Her (miniscule) role in the pilot has been re-cast. Advance word on the series is not good, so The Cognoscente hopes that this is a blessing in disguise, leaving our Raven Haired Goddess available for future, and better projects. Congratulations to Claudia , and we all hope that she'll have a safe and happy delivery. Saturday, September 1, 2007 |
