Aghast (adj)
\uh-gast\
Definition: to be filled with a sense of shock or horror.
Example: The students were aghast to see how many lessons they had to do on OdysseyWare.
Example 2: Rachel would be aghast if no one came to claim their prize before Winter Break; all they had to do was draw a snowflake and write a short poem about it.

When caterpillars turn into moths or butterflies they liquefy completely in their cocoon.
They must turn into the liquid form and start over to be able to get to the final form.
Mmm gooey.

Definition: with the greatest possible speed or promptness, ASAP
Example :  The students at Wm. Finch who wish to be in the name drawing for prizes should finish the quiz posthaste.

Onomatopoeia (noun)

\on-uh-mat-uh-pee-uh\

Definition: A word used to represent a sound made or associated with it's origin.  
Example 1:  Honk! Honk!  The driver in the car doesn't see that the light has turned green.
Example 2:  The dog chomped down onto the balloon. POP!!

Garlic has been used to prevent heart attack, strokes, cancer, tick bites, common colds, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and been shown to kill a wide variety of infections, fungi, bacteria and viruses.   So eat up!  Garlic fries, roasted garlic on pizza, garlic sauce for pasta and all kinds of yummy dishes.  I also heard it repels vampires, just saying. :P

Definition: to hand out, distribute or administer.
Example: After the natural disaster, food and fresh blankets were dispensed to the people in need.

The Naked Mole Rat is the longest living rodent.  It is cancer resistant and scientifically.... neither a mole OR a rat.   Hmmm.
