hugh hewitt

6am - 9am

So it’s no easy task to wake up an entire nation, but Hugh Hewitt is a broadcast pro who does it with ease. He is America’s true East Coast-West Coast man, doing the show most of the time from inside the Beltway of Washington DC, but other times from his studio in Southern California, where Hugh is a professor of law at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law, teaching Constitutional Law.

When he’s inside the Beltway, Hugh will often appear on the panel many Sundays on the NBC’s Meet The Press. You’ll also see him popping up on MSNBC giving much needed conservative opinions. Hugh received national exposure when he was selected by CNN as one of the panelists for four of the 2016 debate stage for President of the United States. Hugh is the author of 14 books, including his most recent “The Fourth Way” outlining what America must do now that we have elected Donald Trump to the presidency. Now heard on around 400 affiliates, Hugh is one of the fastest growing shows on the Salem Radio Network. He is also a contributing columnist for The Washington Post and all his writing appears at Townhall.com

Hugh began his radio career on KFI in Los Angeles in 1990, and spent a decade as co-host of the nightly news and public affairs show on PBS’ Los Angeles affiliate KCET before launching his nationally syndicated show on 8 original stations on July 10, 2000. He moved to mornings in April 2016 and never missed a beat. Hugh and his wife, “The Fetching Mrs. Hewitt” as Hugh calls her on the air, live in northern VA. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School, and spent six years in the Reagan Administration, including stints in the White House Counsel’s office and as Special Assistant to two Attorneys General. Hugh has also served on The California Arts Council, the South Coast Air Quality District and The Orange County Children and Families Commission.

One of the most listened-to radio talk show hosts in America!

Prior to being launched into national syndication in 1998, Mike hosted the morning show on WABC-AM in New York City. Today, Talkers Magazine reports that his show is heard by 7 million weekly listeners.

He’s also a best-selling author, having written two books: Surrounded by Idiots: Fighting Liberal Lunacy in America (William Morrow) and 50 Things Liberals Love to Hate (Threshold), a humorous, insightful romp about the many things liberals seem to hate.

Gallagher has also appeared on stage and film as an actor, with featured roles in regional theater and on Broadway. He appeared at the Shubert Theater in New York for a guest stint in the Tony Award-winning musical “Memphis” as the White DJ, as well as playing the same role in a number of cities on the national tour. Mike also invested in the Tony award-winning musical “Pippin” both in NYC and the national tour.

Perhaps his greatest passion involves supporting the law enforcement community. His charitable foundation “Gallagher’s Army: Fallen Officers Fund” provides assistance to the families of police officers killed in the line of duty. In April of 2015, he was awarded the New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association “Heroism Award” for his steadfast support to law enforcement.

In addition to reaching out to hero officer families, the foundation publishes and distributes the First Responders Bible, a King James Bible and spiritual fitness manual which is offered to First Responders to assist with the emotional and spiritual challenges they face every day (www.gallaghersarmy.org).

“The Happy Conservative Warrior” is one of the most consistently popular hosts in America. Mike’s passionate interaction with listeners and his fast-paced, fun delivery make his show appointment listening for millions of people.

larry elder

3pm - 6pm

America's 'truth detector'

After 20 years leading the way in Los Angeles on KABC, Larry joined Salem Media Group, and in April 2016 SRN re-launched his nationally syndicated radio show. Larry was originally syndicated by the ABC Radio Network from 2002 to 2007, before joining the Salem Radio Network. Known as “the Sage from South Central” Larry is unafraid to take on liberals and the Black Lives Matter movement with common sense.

Larry graduated from Michigan University Law School and later practiced law, before being discovered by SRN host Dennis Prager who recommended him as a host to the legendary George Green, the General Manager at KABC. The rest is history.

Larry says his philosophy is to entertain, inform, provoke and “to hopefully uplift.” His calling card is “we have a country to save,” and to him this means returning to the bedrock Constitutional principles of limited government and maximum personal responsibility. Larry added, “I see the Constitution as a contract that restrains the federal government, leaving everything else to the states and to the people.” As for those who need help, Larry says, “It’s the moral responsibility of the people, not the federal government, to assist. Compassion is our job, not the Feds.”

Larry is a New York Times best-selling author of four books, including his latest “A Lot Like Me: A Father and Son’s Journey to Reconciliation.” His national TV show “Moral Court” was syndicated across the country and was at one time top rated in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. He won a Los Angeles Emmy for “Best News Special” in 1999, and in 2015 was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“I am thrilled and delighted to be joining the Salem Radio Network. What a great time to be on the radio, helping listeners make sense of one of the craziest election cycles we have ever seen,” added Larry. He says, “The question is not which party has my back, but which party can get government off our back–so that we might all realize our God given capabilities.”
