WKC Junior Panthers Tackle

WKC Junior Panthers Cheerleading

Hello Bulldog Families!

As the season comes to an end, we would like to congratulate all of our players and participants on another WONDERFUL season of Bulldog Football!  It is always so much fun watch these kids grow week to week in so many ways!  We are very proud of all you have accomplished this season!  A very special congratulations to Coach Brenner's Feathers and Coach Zager's Middles for bringing home the big "W" in the Superbowls.  Awesome job!!

We also want to congratulate all our 8th graders, some who have been with us since kindergarten.  We want to wish you all the best of luck in high school!  You will be missed, but always know you are welcomed back anytime!  You are always a Bulldog!

November is election month in our organization.  All the current board members were voted in to serve additional terms. The only exception is our newest addition at VP of Cheerleading, the board nominated and voted in Ashley Schaufel this evening.  We welcome Ashley and look forward to her helping our cheer program reach new heights.  She is a wonderful addition to the Bulldog Executive board.

As a great way to end the season, we are having a "Bulldog Family Night on Thursday, November 30th at Touch of Class in Twin Lakes. From 6pm until 9pm, 15% of all orders will come back to the organization. This is a great opportunity to visit with other Bulldog Families while helping to raise some funds for the organization.  There is much to do in the off season to get ready for the upcoming year.  Please consider joining us!  We'd love to see you there.

We have heard that there have been some questions about the Bulldog program out there and we wanted to address them.  First and foremost, our program will be here for your children for the 2018 season and for many years to come.  We are NOT going anywhere.  What is being discussed is the possibility of changing our name to Junior Panthers.  We will still be The Western Kenosha County Youth Football Program, just our name would change.  Becoming Junior Panthers may increase our visibility along with other benefits as a direct partner with the High School.  The executive board and the Wilmot Football and Cheer programs are talking about this union to make sure it is a good fit for all of us.  Regardless of our name, in 2018 the WKCYF will still offer football and cheer, stay in the TCYFL and offer Bantam through Varsity teams.

We appreciate all the questions and concerns we have heard are out there and wanted to take this opportunity to set everyone's minds at ease.  We are not going anywhere.  We will keep our Bulldog Families posted as talks progress.

If anyone has additional tackle questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to Mike Gentile at 262-891-7743.

Please watch for emails regarding early bird registration specials coming out soon!!!

Wishing all our Bulldog Families a VERY Happy Thanksgiving!

Reminder: We are guests of the Kenosha County Parks and need to make sure we pick up before we go home.  Check your areas for garbage, empty water bottles and equipment.  We have had coaches out there until 8pm picking up garbage and left behind bags and equipment. Please help us in keeping the park clean!!

As another reminder we ask that there be no smoking cigarettes or drinking of alcohol in the practice area at all.  Cigarettes must be smoked in the parking lot away from the players and there is no open alcohol allowed in the park.  Again I truly appreciate your support with this.
