Luke Wissmann founded the Wissmann Group with a vision of partnering with executives and business owner/managers to innovate their businesses using methodologies he developed while researching and writing his co-authored book titled "Value Driven Product Planning and Systems Engineering". These cutting edge methodologies improve the fundamental metrics of product value, product cost and pace of innovation to drive bottom-line metrics and mitigate risk.

Mr. Wissmann has worked for several major companies including 3M, Ford Motor Company and United Technologies. In his various roles he demonstrated leadership in several areas of business ranging from product development and quality engineering to marketing and business development. As a consultant, Mr. Wissmann helped a major automotive OEM make decisions about its R&D allocations into safety technologies and he has worked with several small businesses to define their business models to identify enterprise development opportunities.

Academically, Mr. Wissmann earned a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
