The ICKSP runs the Shrine Church of SS Peter, Paul & Philomena according to the latin services of the RC Church under the Bishop of Shrewsbury.  It is the only foundation in England at present doing this and seeks to preserve and promote the religious and cultural heritage.

The MTPS manage the Wirral Heritage Tramway which operates from Woodside Ferry every weekend except at Christmas to the Wirral Transport Museum. MTPS manage the tramway on behalf of Wirral Borough Council.

Birkenhead had the first modern street railway in United Kingdom in August 1860. To commemorate this there is a Heritage Tramway and Museum at Taylor Street Birkenhead CH41 1BG  . Open every weekend.
