Description:
We COULD call this class - "Got Scraps - Got a Free Quilt", or "Shop in Your Stash" and we'd be right.  Sometimes your scrap drawer has hunks and chunks of left over fabric - not already cut into strips.  You know - those odd pieces from layer cakes, or ends of fat quarters.  So gather them up, and bring them along to this fun class.  Your option will be to use lights and mediums and darks from your scrap drawer - OR to use a controlled background to tie it all together.  Included will be some interesting and clever looking borders - add some snazzy quick cuts to make the "snowball" corners without leftover triangles.  With a few good, easy cuts, you will be on your way to some pretty amazing quilt blocks.  Hope you'll join us!

Fabric Needed:

SCRAPS:  Pieces at least 6 1/2" and 4 1/2" square.  Strips of 2 1/2" width and other widths.Preparation prior to class will assure that you get ALL the samples made.

BACKGROUND:  In some cases, scraps will do - but you will need about 2 1/2 yards total if you plan to make any of the quilts.  For the sample, you'll need less than half a yard - but watch for the cutting instructions.

Supplies Needed:
Basic Sewing Kit
Rotary cutter/Mat/Ruler
12" square ruler and/or 9 1/2" square ruler
6" x 12" ruler

Cutting Instructions:
Watch for instructions that will be emailed to you several weeks prior to the Retreat.  These will include specific instructions for EACH of the block samples.
