Welcoming Pineapples are the rage and really brighten any room.  The pineapple is recognized as a traditional expression of "welcome" throughout the South and in areas along the Eastern Seaboard.  Appearing on all sorts of decor - from knockers to quilts - the fruit symbolizes those intangible assets we appreciate in a home:  warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality.

This project was so much fun to create.  We will be using wool applique on a 12" x 20" inch piece of background fabric.  This wool project doesn't require big pieces of wool and is very "wool scrap friendly".  I will demonstrate a couple of different methods I use when doing wool applique.
