Description:
This quilt is exactly that - FABULOSO!  We'll have a great time sewing this fun quilt and experimenting with fabric.

So, we have some planning to do!  Exciting!  There are 2 options for this class.

1.  Bring your own fabric and have fun sewing up what you love . . . Focus fabrics would be great to use in the blocks.

2.  Participate in a fabric swap with members of the class.  I swapped fabrics with my friends and it was so fun to see what came about.  My quilt is made from Kaffe Fassett red and blue fabrics, bold and full of color.  These colors are not muted or light.  I propose that we all bring various blocks, depending on how many people are in the class and swap fabrics amongst those who want to participate.

Fabric/Supply List:
Outer Border - 36 squares blue/green/purple - Cut 8 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Inner field of quilt - 25 squares of red/pink/purple - Cut 8 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Sashings
-for center sashings - 4 assorted light to dark peach solids AND 4 assorted light to dark pink solids - cut from each 2 strips 2 1/2" x width of fabric
-A great red solid that will be your corner posts - 36 squares 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
-24 strips of dark blue or purple solid - 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"

If you're using your own fabrics rather than participating in the fabric swap, find colors for the inner and outer sashings that set off the fabrics you have chosen.

If you want to make this quilt bigger - then just buy more fabric and it will be easy to slip other blocks in there.  Remember, you'll need more fabric for the sashing if that's what you choose.
