Dr. Porter’s consulting practice is located in the historic and picturesque city of Savannah, Georgia. This first city in Georgia was established in 1733 by General James Oglethorpe, Georgia’s first Governor. Savannah’s National Historic Landmark Districts -- one of the nation’s largest -- features numerous historic homes and 22 park-like squares with ancient, moss-draped live oaks.
Savannah is a major tourist destination with 11 million visitors a year and has the second largest container port on the East Coast. Other key facilities include Gulfstream aircraft, JCB construction equipment, an International Paper facility, and the military base for Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Over 40,000 students attend local colleges and universities. The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has non-stop flights to such major cities as Atlanta, Charlotte, New York City, Chicago, Houston, and Washington DC.
