Ladies and Gentlemen of the 2nd Maryland,
I hope the holidays have been a joyous time for all.  As the calendar turns to a new year, we once again will be making preparations for the upcoming campaign.  We will be holding our winter business meeting on Saturday, January 12, 2013 beginning at 3 PM at the Burt Residence.  Association Officers (President, VP, Secretary, and Treasurer) will be elected at the meeting.  If anyone would like to make a nomination for these offices they should contact the Nomination Committee Chairman, Shelly Wright.  (Remember, in order for someone to run for an office, they must [1] accept the nomination and [2] be a member in good standing with the company).
Immediately following the business meeting will be the Annual Company H Party/Get Together.  The main dishes are being supplied by the Burts.  Anyone attending is asked to contact Dean and Nina Burt to RSVP and to provide a side dish or dessert.
Please bring your check books to the meeting as Membership forms and dues can be submitted at the meeting.

Also, anyone who is interested in attending the PACS convention this coming Saturday (January 5) as part of the 2nd MD Company H delegation should contact Captain Hayman ASAP.

I hope to see everyone at the winter meeting and party.  Have a happy and safe new year!
