ACE! Please welcome our Girls tennis coach. Coach Tasi Purcell Batista!
She is an Orlando native and has been involved in the game of tennis for over 20 years. She started playing tennis at the age of 9, and started competing in junior tournaments at the age of 10. At the young age of 12, Tasi captured the Florida State
Championship title and went on to play varsity tennis at Dr. Phillips High School in the #1 position all 3 years. After graduating from high school, she accepted a full tennis scholarship to play for Rollins College in Winter Park.
Tasi is one of the most decorated players in Rollins women’s tennis history. She not only was a three-time ITA All-American selection, but she was also named to the Sunshine State
Conference teams all four years of her career. To start her college career, she was named SSC Freshman Player of the Year, and to end it, she was named SSC Player of the Year in her senior year. In 2006, Tasi was the national recipient for the Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship, one of the top honors the a collegiate tennis player can receive. 
Most recently, Tasi was inducted into the Rollins College Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
Tasi now transfers her love of tennis to students by being a full time coach. She has trained players at all levels, and is excited to be an addition to the Windermere High School athletic
team! She is married and has one son.
Boys Head Tennis Coach Kevin Brandt has joined the Wolverine team.
Coach Brandt is originally from Minnesota with Tennis Coaching experience dating back to 1998. He is currently the Director of Tennis / Head Coach and Tournament Director at Star Island Resort, since 2012. His previous experience includes being the Manager of Lake Cane Tennis Center and Fort Gatlin Tennis Center, PTR Professional Instructor with Certifications in 5 classifications including High Performance and Recreational Juniors, with a substantial amount of time coaching high school and college players. He has been the featured speaker at Tennis Industry Association and PTR Conferences.
