Food Preservation Basics 101 Workshop

Saturday July 9 and Sunday August 7, 2011

 

Have you wanted to learn how to can but were intimidated by the process? Have you wondered how to best freeze your garden harvest but have been disappointed by the results? Then you need to attend this upcoming workshop.

 
This workshop will provide you with the info you need to preserve food safely. We will cover freezing, dehydrating and canning using a water bath process. We will review pressure canning as well. Come and get hands on practice. A textbook with recipes will be provided. Space is limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Bring your lunch. Cost: $60
