Frequently Asked Questions Search

Q: How many books can my child check out?

A:  Students in pre-k, kindergarten and first grade can select one book each week.  Second grade students may select two books each week.

Q: When should my child return his/her library book(s)?
A:  Library books are due the day before your child’s library day. Returning them at that time allows us to check the books in prior to your child’s visit.

Q: What happens if my child forgets to return his/her book?
A:  Students with overdue books will not be able to check out a book until everything has been returned.

Q: What happens if my child loses or damages a library book?
A: Parents will be responsible for paying for the cost to replace the lost/damaged book.  Your child will not be allowed to check out additional books until the book has been paid for.
