week 3 - day 3

major progress in final project game today after drawing the cars yesterday, lots of code in and it works. some keys even have special effects along with the normal glow
glow keys - G, V, B (on release returns to normal, N is still normal though)
special "power" keys now: space (fly and blue glow), shift (boost and motion blur), z (brakes and black glow)
 
 
 
It's early in the day but the first thing we made was a flashlight that you can click on to make the light turn on and off. we also looked at other examples of coding today such as java, c++, iphone's sdk, and other ones
 
 
 
we also worked on drawing grids and getting objects to snap to them, i did my grid 100 by 100 pixels and the chevy icon as the thing to move/snap around, and we put the registration point of it at the top left to thats where it snaps 
 
 
 
 
today I finished drawing the challenger, and added some glow effects just for fun:
G - green glow
V - purple glow
B - blur effect
N - normal picture, no effects
 
 
 
 
 
We also worked on the skeleton and masking things again, and this time we control the xray bar/box by dragging it around with the mouse
the box is invisible but starts on the skeleton's head and you can drag it around from there (but if you drag it off the skeleton you might have a hard time finding it)
