Wildfires Booster Club is a group of parents, staff and community members who are committed to raising funds and volunteering their time to help Foresthill High School achieve their goals. The funds raised by the Booster Club go to help many parts of our beautiful high school including clubs, sports teams, classrooms & school functions.

Because Foresthill High School is one of the smallest public high schools in Placer County, our needs are often overlooked when larger, successful businesses make contributions to schools. With public education funding in California a major concern, small schools face even greater financial challenges.

As a 501(c)3 organization, we look for creative and successful ways to provide the same programs available in the larger schools.

Wildfire Booster's now accepting donations and merchandise payments with credit cards!!

OUR ORGANIZATION has partnered with Benefit as a free and easy fundraising solution!

Benefit is a free iPhone and Android app that allows you to shop at places like Target, Starbucks, Amazon, Walmart and many more, while giving up to 20% of every transactions back to our organization. Just shop like you normally do. When it comes time to checkout, instead of pulling out your credit card, pull out the Benefit app and purchase a digital gift card that you redeem instantly.

For instance, buy $200 worth of back to school clothing at Gap, and $16 (8%) goes back to your organization. It doesn't cost you a dime beyond what you were already going to spend. It's raising funds without fundraising!

Download the app and select our organization Wildfires Boosters as your chosen beneficiary to start giving today.

For more information go to www.benefit-mobile.com. Feel free to forward this email to family and friends. The more people who participate, the more funds we will raise.

Sober Grad Night Donations are welcome
Dear Wildfire Supporter:

As parents of a Foresthill High School senior, please accept our heartfelt thanks for the support you’ve shown in the past.  Whether you’ve previously made a donation, or lent your support by attending a game or other event, our small high school would not be the success it is without the community in which it makes its home.  Be sure to mark your calendar to be part of the festivities as the senior class of 2017 graduates on May 27, 2017.

As a celebration of all our students have accomplished, our parent organizing committee and local law enforcement are planning a safe and sober event on the evening of graduation.  Our goal?  Provide a fun, safe, supervised, and most important, sober graduation celebration for all graduating seniors.

National Highway Safety Transportation statistics show that on average, over 60% of traffic fatalities of those aged 15-20 occur during the weeks of prom and graduation, and are alcohol related.  A CHP study has shown that “By far, the highest number of teen drunk driving fatalities happen on graduation night.”

Please consider a donation of product or a gift certificate to be offered as a raffle prize.  Cash donations will also be much appreciated.  Please make checks payable to FHS Boosters Sober Grad.  Won’t you consider supporting our graduating seniors with your tax deductible 501(c)3 donation?  Receipts will be provided upon request.

If you have any questions please contact Sandy Ralston at (530) 906-6108.

The students and parents of Foresthill High School Class of 2017 thank you in advance for your support!!
