• What is Women In Animation, The Los Angeles Chapter?

    Women In Animation is a professional, non-profit organization established in 1994 to foster the dignity, concerns and advancement of women who are involved in any and all aspects of the art and industry of animation. The Los Angeles Chapter exists to serve members in the Los Angeles and Southern
    California area.

  • What is the Voice-Over Group Workshop?

    This group was created for all voice actors in the animation industry to learn voice-
    over techniques, practice what they’ve already learned and network with industry professionals and other
    group members every month.

    It is a monthly workshop event in various recording studios around Los Angeles. Group Coordinator,
    Jyll Gartin books
    a guest voice director from the industry and invites interested parties to come together and have a fun with their voices.

    There is a door fee to come to the workshop: $15 for WIA members and $20 for Non-members.

  • What is the Pitch Night Workshop?

    This group was created for all those interested in pitching their Storyboards, Character Designs, Background Designs, Prop Designs or anything else you can think of, in order to show your Animation Project. We have Industry Professionals who stop by to help critique what you have created, and offer advice on how you can improve your work, or pat you on the back for a job well done.

    We meet at The Animation Guild (TAG) 839 in Burbank at 1105 Hollywood Way every 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM with Kitty M. Love, your Moderator. WIA Members are free, Non-Members are asked to donate $5.00 to join in and PITCH their work or join in on the critiques.
