Woolton Hill Tennis Club is formally known as Woolton Hill Sports Club and offers two different memberships - one for tennis & table tennis and one purely for table tennis.

The tennis section has around 200 members, including juniors, and offers the opportunity for both social and competitive play. We have lots of teams who play in both the Newbury and Berkshire leagues. Our courts have been resurfaced summer of 2015 with new nets, posts and fencing.

Fun and exciting coaching is provided by Premium Tennis for all ages including the LTA mini tennis programme. Adults can choose between different levels of group coaching and private sessions.

There is a strong junior section, with regular tournaments and performance coaching sessions. In 2016 we hosted a Road to Wimbledon 14&U event again plus our boys AEGON 16&U tennis team gave a strong performance and finished mid table in our group.
We are proud that both our Premium Tennis coaches Mike Gordon & Patrick Craggs have been selected as Davis Cup legacy coaches. Patrick will be delivering the six free coaching sessions to new mini red players this summer. In 2016 demand was strong and we had 28 children on the waiting list!

Summer social club sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm and in the winter this is a floodlit session.

The table tennis section has five teams for 2016 / 17 season starting in September and playing in various divisions. Membership numbers both adult and junior are increasing with a very popular social session Monday evenings from 7.30pm. The club has recently re-opened the old squash court building with the help of a grant from Greenham Common Trust and can now offer at least 3 table tennis tables in an excellent new environment.

The club prides itself on its friendly nature with many group tennis sessions for all abilities.
How to Find Us: The club is on Woolton Hill Rd, the main road running through the village from the Andover Road. Continue through the village and past the school, go straight on at Trade St crossroads and you will find the club on the left half way down the hill as you leave the village.  The club's nearest postcode is RG20 9TX.
