Helping Your Child Learn Geography

Welcome to the geography home page! This site was made for students like you. On this page, you will learn how to tell your friends where you are and where you want to go. To do this you will use something called longitude and latitude. (We'll explain later.)

To navigate, follow Dr. Globe!

These are the pages that Dr. Globe will take you through. You can link from this page or the sidebar on the left.

This site was created in the spring of 1998 by three undergraduates, Van Nguyen, Nicole Richardson, and Dana Rajczewski, while studying at the University of Richmond They completed the original version of this document as a project for the class EDUC 343: Computers in the Elementary Classroom. Since the site is still widely used by classroom teachers, it has recently been updated and moved.
