What we believe affects "who we are", how we make
decisions, how we act and how we conduct business. That is
true for all of mankind, and finding the person we trust to do
business with is as important as the price we are going to pay for
the product or service. We want to get the best price that we
can, we don't want to be overcharged or taken advantage of. At
the same time when we find a deal that is "too good to be true" we
get suspicious. When a business offers us an incredibly low price,
way below the industry norms, we question how can they do this.
They can either cut corners, use inferior products, or cut labor
costs and profit to nothing. A business cant continue to
operate for long if they are losing money. The immediate follow up
to the last question becomes "I love the price, but what happens if
I have a problem in a week, a month, a year ? Will they be
here to stand behind it ? And this entire process happens at
an almost subconscious level in just seconds with almost any
purchase we make."

Mr. Whatley has done almost everything
but refuse to allow me to create this page. His humble modesty is
not fake and his ethical / moral sense of how he conducts business is
more important to him than how much money he makes. He does not
measure success with dollar signs. However, I have as many years doing
what I do as he does in his industry. I understand that if I cant
show you why you should do business with Whatley's, then I am wasting my
time and his money building this site.
Since my own code of ethics closely mirrors his and is as stubbornly
cast in stone, I have to find a way to show you why you should consider
Mr Whatley when you need any of his various services.
God gave me a talent for marketing and a disgust for deceptive,
manipulative marketers. That is why I have devoted my life since 2004 to giving away my time and services to help
Missions reach a suffering, cruel, unjust, hurting world - Helping
small missions reach both the people that need their help as well as
other people that can finance their work. I have learned
where real freedom and happiness comes from. I walked away
from commercial projects for pay and learned how to live on as much
money a month as I once earned per hour. On rare occasions I do a small project such as this to help finance my mission work. I can afford to be extremely selective, choosing who I
will work for and Mr Whatley earned my respect before we ever considered this project. (I met Mr Whatley while he was doing a project for one of my friends. This friend asked me to keep an eye on the job-site, so my first introduction was actually observing Whatley's Asphalt Paving at work.)
It was this combination of backgrounds and experiences that solved my dilemma of giving Mr Whatley a
fair representation of his company while still respecting his wishes. The following are a list of Biblical principles and a
code that both Mr Whatley and I share.. You may not believe in the
God that both he and I serve, but even if you believe in no God at all,
the principals that follow are desirable in anyone that you wish to do
business with..

New International Version
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the
Law?”37Jesus
replied: “‘Love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind.’b 38This
is the first and greatest commandment. 39And
the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’c 40All
the Law (of Moses) and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
-
(Explanation - If you love your neighbor as yourself, you will give
them your best, you will not lie, cheat or steal from them and will
give the best you can. If we as a society followed that one
law, we could eliminate almost every other law as being redundant)
