Comments from Susan Nuttall:
This is an unfortunate, but necessary repair caused by the extreme weather.  Today, I was in touch with Bill Barr, Chairman of the Golf Committee regarding the suddenness of the announcement.  Keith Ihms found a company qualified to do the delicate work of reshaping the #12 green and they had availability right away.  The springs needed for the greens were also available in early June, much earlier than was expected.

The decision to close right away was made by Golf Maintenance, Golf Committee and key members of the POA Board.  Golf Operations will start reswizzling the schedule starting tomorrow and will be in touch with the Golf Group Leaders. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.  My understanding is that we will schedule shotguns at the Country Club as needed.

If you have a Match Play game scheduled at Scotsdale next week, you may want to be proactive and reschedule at another course.
