Webster Farm Organic hosts events throughout the season so that members may visit the farm, take in a workshop, tour the gardens, participate in a fun activity that enhances the sustainability of the farm, share good food. As a working farm we set aside these times for community events but cannot accommodate individual visits during the productive seasons.

Mayfest opens the season when we tour the sleeping gardens to awaken the soil to a fertile year. We host classes on herbs as food and medicine, assessing water, air, soil quality with natural observations, use of field guides to identify the bountiful wildlife,  food preservation techniques, creating resilient communities and food systems, simple sustainable tools you can use anywhere, composting with worms, and, of course, group bake-offs in the clay oven.

All events are held on Saturdays from 1 -4 pm.
Advance registration and prepayment of nominal fees is required to respect the commitment of the presenters. Some will also include a materials fee, or a supply list to bring. Members may invite a guest for the nominal fee.

Events are held rain or shine. Dress for the weather, particularly footwear. We ask all visitors to respect this working farm and to follow directions for off-limits areas or areas accessed only with a farm team member. You are welcome to explore the woods on your own, but no self-tours of gardens or buildings, please. We also ask you bring no chemical sprays, no meat, no pets, no firearms or toy weapons. While at the farm there is no smoking, no alcohol or recreational substances, please. Be prepared to pack out all your recyclables and trash. You will have the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the natural world. If you cannot, please silence your devices and respond outside common areas to respect others who have. For some events basic campsites are available by prior arrangement.
