AMYA President Dave Brawner Visits Sun City
Gary, Hap and Dave
The WVRC Mariners had the pleasure of a visit by President Dave Brawner Thursday April 25th, 2014 at Sun City's Lakeview Recreation Center. The members enjoyed the oppurtunity to meet with Dave as he traveled to San Francisco for the IOM nationals. Mike Eades supplied Dave with a Micro Magic and Dave supplied some Florida breeze for a great day of sailing and socializing. Dave generally sails J's, EC 12's, and Laser's so the MM was a huge change in sail area and displacement. Still it didn't take him long to adjust and work his way up the fleet.

Animated Rules of Sailing: An extremely useful web site illustrating in very simple terms the application of the rules of sailing by Dick Rose, a member of the US Sailing Rules Committee can be found on the "Useful Links " page of this web site.

Next Club Meeting: Saturday, December 2, 2017 10:00am, in Litchfield Park, at Tierra Verde Lake Park, East End (our traditional meeting place) so come out and join us.
