Hello Everyone,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Krispy Kreme fundraiser. We raised over $600. A big thank you to Patty Salvatore for all the work she put into this fundraiser!

While we work with the district on the purchase of Chromebooks, the PTO has begun to give back to Westside in the form of teacher grants. We have opened these grants up to the core teachers right now but hope to expand this program to every teacher as we begin to raise more money.

Our Teacher Dinner is coming up on November 1. The teachers are in conferences all afternoon and they have dinner from 4 - 5 pm. We need donations of food as well help setting up at 2:30 on November 1. If you wish to make a monetary donation, the PTO will purchase extra food for you. Below are the sign-up links for our dinner:

We have sternos and all donations can be sent to the main office. The teachers always enjoy ethnic dishes!

Role Model Mentors:
Kathleen Keefe, one of our Westside parents, works for Role Model Mentors. It is an organization that provides students with a trained high school mentor. If you think your child might benefit from a peer mentor, consider Role Model Mentors as an option. They currently have students from Danbury High School working with them, many of whom are Westside graduates.

If you sign up and mention Westside Middle School, they will donate $50 per referral to WSMSA PTO
