There is a river, a sweet, still, flowing river, the streams whereof will make glad thy heart.  And learn but in quietness and stillness to retire to the Lord, and wait upon him, in whom thou shalt feel peace and joy, in the midst of thy troubles...
Isaac Pennington to the Widow Hemmings, 1675

The quotations used in this space are from the earlier Quakers. The quotes will be changed often to give a feeling for the thinking of some of those who passed this way before us.

Survival Spanish

Survival Spanish
Do you speak really good 'Hoosier'? Would you like to learn a second language? No it's not English, it's Spanish. It's for beginners. We are calling it "survival Spanish" and it will be taught by a high school Spanish teacher.

It will be here at the meetinghouse on 6 Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The classes begin June 11 and end on July 16.

For further questions, or to sign up, email Dale Graves: daleggraves@gmail.com

And, oh yes, if Dale is involved, there will be food!
