West Midlands Cycling is an idea of linking local towns via mainly off road cycle routes. We have a fixed point in each town to make it easy to join routes together. Showcasing the off road network for cycling we have in the West Midlands area. These routes are not always the quickest routes from point to point, but they are the most off road route. Using canals, old railways, dedicated cycling pathways and cycle lanes. Find your nearest starting point from the list below and get on the network

NEW ROUTE: 
Bilston to Wolverhampton via a local signposted route using minor roads and shared pedestrian and cycling pavements.

Some new cycling signposts have sprung up between Bilston and Wolverhampton, I went for a cycle to check them out....
NEW ROUTE:
We have added a new small local route on the West Bromwich section, using the Midland Metro Cycleway, an off road route from West Bromwich to The Hawthorns Railway Station.

COSELEY TUNNEL:
We now hear the Coseley Tunnel has been re-opened after work has been carried out on safety grounds.
