Located in the Scottish Borders, no more than 16 miles outside of Edinburgh, West Linton Tennis Club is a thriving tennis club with more than 125 members of all ages. The club has three all-weather, sand-dressed Playrite carpet courts with floodlights for evening play.
A full range of social, competitive, improvers, and fitness tennis is provided by the club for its members. Throughout the year, the club hosts a number of on-court events such as American Tennis Tournaments, Open Days, Social Mixed Doubles and Friendly Parent-Junior Days. Encouraging more play at the club, online club box leagues through Tennis Jeannie are available, and have seen a very positive response from our members.
The club also hosts a wide variety of junior competitions such as the annual Tweeddale Tennis Junior Championships, a Road to Wimbledon tournament, Borders Junior League matches, and a series of Tweeddale matchplay and ratings' matches.
On the adult side, Borders Ladies' and Men's leagues are played here as well as the Tweeddale Tournament which brings players from the four "local" clubs of West Linton, Peebles, Innerleithen and Broughton together.

Off-court activities include our highly anticipated annual Christmas dinner and the participation for eligible members in the Wimbledon ticket ballot.
Membership fees are kept at a fairly low level to maintain a healthy balance of community and family engagement as well as developing and encouraging junior involvement.
If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate in getting in touch - all contact details to be found on the Committee page.

We look forward to welcoming you at West Linton Tennis Club.
