The BARN - a local drug and alcohol service based in Barnsley, South 
Yorkshire. The BARN offers information and advice around drug or 
alcohol issues for young people under 18, their parents or carers and
other professionals. The BARN can offer counselling, information and
advice, ear acupuncture, advocacy, as well as support for parents and 
offers various drug information leaflets. The outreach worker also visits
local schools and youth clubs to inform young people about The BARN

Youth Information websites and services

Muslim Youth Helpline is a free, confidential counselling and
befriending service for young Muslims in need. MYH is run by young
people trained in basic Islamic counselling skills. Both male and female
volunteers respond to inquiries. The Helpline provides support for
Muslim youth under the age of 25 years by telephone and e-mail. 
They also offer face-to-face peer-counselling sessions and operate a
befriending service across Greater London.
