New Young People’s Services at the LGF

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation Manchester


Drop in for a chat every Wednesday between 3pm and 6pm



Are you between 11 and 25 years old?


Are you lesbian, gay, bisexual or questioning your sexuality?


Then we’re here if you need us!

At the drop in you’ll be free to talk about 

whatever you want in a safe space.

So whether you:


• Want to talk to a friendly face

• Need some advice

• Want to know what’s out there

• Need information on sexual health, drugs and alcohol

• Need some information

• Want to get some help

• Are being bullied

• Are feeling isolated

• Need someone to listen


Then we’re here if you need us!

Tracey Brereton, is the young persons mental health officer 

at the LGF as well as a qualified counsellor, she says:

“The drop-in is here to help you in any way that is necessary for you. 

It is a very informal space where you are welcome to come for a drink and a

chat, and find how we can best support you. This space is for you, to do with

it as you please. I look forward to meeting you.”

Be part of something great


The LGF are also looking for a young people aged 16-25 with great ideas,

enthusiasm and creativity to help set up and run a new project aimed at

supporting and improving the well-being  of young lesbian, gay, bisexual

and questioning young people.
