Showjumping Rally 2011

The show jumping rally was one of the greatest things I did with pony club this summer. This rally came near the end of a summer full of riding and it was my last event of the summer. The five girls in our pony club grew really close on our camping trips, rally, and all the meetings and so when we got to the rally we really knew the best way to help each other and we were efficient and had a lot of fun. I think we also really appreciated the rally because it almost didn't happen. The best part of the rally was that my mare was really calm and quiet and made me really proud. Rallies are so much work and I always have a different experience learning new things at each one, but each time it seems to be getting better and better and after leaving this rally I couldn't wait for another season to improve more.

Our Pony Clubbers and Horsemasters are having fun and learning a lot throughout the year.  Whether from participating in rally's, attending Championships, partnering with a new mount, attending clinics and ratings or simply applying our horsemanagement skills to our own home barns in dead of winter.... our experiences need to be shared.  This blog will be dedicated to our Pony Club participants, young and not nearly as young, to share their experiences where they find them.  To enter a submission, please email your blog entry to krry_lmbrt@yahoo.com
