Western Dressage Rider Association of Michigan (WDRAM)

The Western Dressage Rider Association of Michigan (WDRAM) is currently forming and is open to anyone who rides western and has an interest in dressage. 
 
The USEF has recognized Western Dressage and currently has two basic tests available for competitions. 
 
We are looking at holding three V-shows (you ride the tests at home and video tape them; this is your entry for the show) for 2011.  Ribbons 1-6 places.  1st place plaque/trophy.  Entry fee is $15 for WDAM/WDRA members.  $25 for non-members.
 
V-Show #1 (USEF Western Dressage Basic Test #1):  Submissions accepted July 1-Aug. 1, 2011
V-Show #2 (USEF Western Dressage Basic Test #2):  Submissions accepted Sept. 1-Oct.1, 2011
V-Show #3 (USEF Western Dressage Basic Test #1):  Submissions accepted Nov. 1- Dec.1, 2011
 
Membership in WDARM is $20 a year for a rider (and as many horses as they wish to ride).
Nominations for Year-end awards is $10 per division:  Year-end awards will be given in 8 divisions (you must compete in 2 out of the 3 V-shows held for 2011 in order to qualify).  Grand & Reserve in each divsion will receive an award plaque.  Year-end ribbons will be given to the remaining 3-6 places.

Rider  (Rider's age as of Jan. 1):
13-under
14-18
19-34
35-over
 
Horse (Horses age as of Jan. 1):
Jr. Horse (6-under)
Sr. Horse (5-14)
Aged Horse (15-20)
Aged Sr. Horse (21-over)
 
If you would like to compete for Top Ten awards in the above divisions on a national level you can join the Western Dressage Rider Association (WDRA).
